Ski Season 2007 Visitor Statistics
FIVE MILLION Visits in 12 months!
Despite the sometimes challenging snow conditions of the 2006/7 European Ski Season, j2ski.com again attracted over three times as many visitors as the season before.
In season (January through March) we are - according to Hitwise® (an independent Competitive Intelligence provider) - the 4th Most Popular and the Fastest Growing UK Ski Site.
Traffic Growth - Sustained and Consistent
Due to the high quality, organic, nature of our traffic we have been able to maintain solid and consistent growth in visitor numbers since launch. Our traffic has tripled, year-on-year, for each of the past three years.
In the past twelve months we have served Five Million Visits, and our mid-season traffic peaked at Fifty Thousand visits in a single day (early January 2007).
Market Share and Traffic Rank according to Hitwise®
Hitwise® continuously measure the traffic to nearly 200 Snow Sports Web Sites visited by UK web surfers. Their "Snow Sports" category includes all the familiar names - the Ski Club of Great Britain, Igluski, Snow Forecast and, of course, j2ski.com.

In the six months from November 2006 through April 2007, j2ski.com served more than 4 Million Visitor Sessions (Visits) from 2 Million unique addresses.
In the peak months of January and February 2007, j2ski.com served more than 2,000,000 visits.
At peak season, one half (up from one third the previous year) of our daily traffic was identifiable repeat visits (i.e. identified with a previously set visitor cookie).
